ABOUT SHADE’

Shade’ Dixon heads the Atlanta location of Tyree Hyche & Dixon, LLC. As an avid lover of the ARTS, musician and photographer, her passion lies in contributing to the integrity and protection of the arts and those who create it; as well as, assisting with the birth of new ideas and helping them become a reality by way of small business growth.  As such, Shade's practice focuses in the areas of Entertainment, Intellectual Property, and Business/Entrepreneur law handling contract drafting and negotiations, business formation and consultation, trademark and copyright registrations, career development and strategy, and more. 

Shade’ is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia, State Bar of Georgia's Intellectual Property and Entertainment & Sports Sections, American Bar Association's Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industry, and Georgia Lawyers for the Arts. She serves as an alumnae mentor in Spelman College's Sister2Sister Alumnae-Students Professional Mentoring Program. 

Shade' is also heavily involved in her church and community. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and currently serves as a member of the EBC Photographers and  Entrepreneurs Ministries. 

In her spare time, the self proclaimed "hip-hop head", film and sports lover enjoys stressing over Alabama football games (#RollTide), watching movies, watching the Lakers play, traveling and taking photos.
